Community Special Fund Administered by The Columbia Foundation The Special Fund was created to provide funding to assure that our beautiful community remains an ideal place to live. (This is above and beyond the efforts of our local governments) Special Fund setup by Our Community Guide.com For example, as the Special Fund grows funds can be available for some of the following depending on the specific needs of a given community: Work with local garden clubs to plant perennial gardens, spring flowerbeds, azaleas, rhododendrons and flowering trees. Make sure all litter and graffiti is cleaned up as quickly as possible. Clean up grass and weeds that crop up along curb lines. To provide security patrols to protect our residents from those with bad intentions.
